“I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the End,” says the Lord.
Jesus had a birthday.
Just like us, from the day He drew His first breath, time moved toward His death.
Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. Arranged in various combinations, letters convey words and communicate messages. God, as Supreme Author holds in His massive hands the infinity of Alpha and Omega. He defines and shapes each polar end and everything between.
“…Who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Rev. 1:8; NKJV.
He embodies every verb tense.
He is Almighty over our every dot and comma.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16; NIV.
Love birthed Jesus.
Jesus loved us to eternity.
It is unfathomable that endlessness should be limited, that death should be birthed in willing sacrifice and that love could be so tangible.
And so it was, on a specific birthdate and in a particular birthplace, Omega manifested Himself in the form of a child.
